To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Casio is re-releasing the Casiotron, a callback to the very first Casio watch from 1974. The new Casiotron TRN50-2A is a true successor to its inspiration in both form and function. It remains under 40mm wide (391.mm), is only 42.7mm lug to lug, and is 12.3mm thick. The stainless steel configuration is paired with a steel bracelet, and a dial emblazoned with the vintage Casiotron logo and blue striations surrounded by a fluted edge.
The Casiotron TRN50-2A may look old-school, but it packs all the technology you'd expect from a state-of-the-art watch in 2024 thanks to the 3542 Module inside. Functions include Bluetooth connectivity, an automatic calendar, and full LED backlights. Pushers on each corner of the case allow easy access to these and other functions.
